This drawing evolved out of a simple botanical etching. I added the flies, the snake, and the knife. I added the text to better reflect the concept of the circle of life. The flies eat the fruit, the bird eats the flies, the snake is preying on the bird, and there is a knife as a treat to the snake. In the end, i believe this drawing achieved desired goal.
